Facilities At Sweat Box Gym, Bristol
Our gym has been designed to meet as many needs as possible and includes; Bodyweight Area, Strength and Conditioning, Watson machines, assault bikes and runners and free weights area.
The Sweat Box gym is made up of 3 different areas. We’ve designed it to meet the demands of athletes and avid gym goers alike. We have a big bodyweight / calisthenics following and an area designed specially for that. Consisting of pull up bars, dip bars, ropes, Olympic rings and more. Our general strength area is made up of custom made free weights, Olympic lifting platforms, cable and plate loaded strength machines. To complete this area we have a functional ‘crossfit’ style area, with a variety of cardio equipment, for those needing free space to slam balls, flip tyres, push sleds and more.
The Treatment Room
Our in-house sport and remedial massage therapist, Lana, can assist will the ever-increasing demands placed on our bodies, members and non-members welcome to book.
Our café provides a viewing area of the whole gym for parents and partners not training or for anyone who would simply just like a good cup of coffee. We sell a variety of protein packed snacks, hot drinks and pre / post workout supplements.
Our in-house brand SWTBX provides kit for those that want to be part of our over growing community. Check out our range of tees, hoodies, shorts and compression wear. We also have a full range of Pedro Bessa bjj X tatami training and leisure wear.
Our address is Units 2-3 Princess Street, we are located on the corner of Victoria Grove, left turn at the top of Princess Street.
Yes, the gym has a small carpark for members. Otherwise before 9am and after 5pm the surrounding streets are free to park in.
Yes, we have bike facilities outside, in front of our main doors.
Yes, we have full shower and changing facilities.
We allow the martial arts mats and bag area to be used for general use only whilst classes are not on. From 5pm onwards, this area is dedicated to classes.
No, we only allow sparring in classes or supervised by a coach.
Yes, we have lockers in the main gym and personal effect lockers in our changing rooms. Users of the gym are required to bring their own padlocks. The gym does not take responsibility for belongings left unattended.
Yes, we have a café on-site that sells water, coffee, protein shakes, protein bars, etc.
